More than 50 papers join in front-page leader article on the SCAM known as climate change

In an unprecedented bid to launch a global cap and trade scheme and a massive global tax for just living and breathing..."56 newspapers worldwide will run the same front-page editorial promoting the climate-change myth and supporting the globalist agenda at the Copenhagen climate-change conference this week. Here we see the collectivist mainstream media, not as a reporter of events, but as a major participant." ~ G Edward Griffin

More than 50 papers join in front-page leader article on climate change

Opinion piece to be published in 56 papers across 45 countries – including the Guardian, Le Monde and two Chinese papers

The Guardian has teamed up with more than 50 papers worldwide to run the same front-page leader article calling for action at the climate summit in Copenhagen, which begins tomorrow.
This unprecedented project is the result of weeks of negotiations between the papers to agree on a final text, in a process that mirrors the diplomatic wrangling likely to dominate the next 14 days in Copenhagen.
Fifty-six papers in 45 countries published in 20 different languages have joined the initiative, and will feature the leader in some form on their front pages.
Among the titles taking part are two Chinese papers – the Economic Observer and the Southern Metropolitan – and India's second largest English-language paper, The Hindu.
Some of the world's best known papers, such as Le Monde, El Pais, Russia's Novaya Gazeta and the Toronto Star, are also on board.
The leader was the work of team of Guardian writers and editors and went through three drafts to arrive at a text that satisfied all the editors involved.
Alan Rusbridger, editor-in-chief of the Guardian, said: "Newspapers have never done anything like this before but they have never had to cover a story like this before. No individual newspaper editorial could hope to influence the outcome of Copenhagen but I hope the combined voice of 56 major papers speaking in 20 languages will remind the politicians and negotiators gathering there what is at stake – and persuade them to rise above the rivalries and inflexibility that have stood in the way of a deal."
The Guardian deputy editor Ian Katz, who co-ordinated the project, said: "The fact that papers from Moscow to Miami, with such different national and political perspectives, could agree on an editorial should offer some hope that our leaders might be able to do the same. We are bombarded with so much news and comment about climate change that many people are understandably tempted to go back to bed and pull the duvet over their heads – hopefully this improbable alliance will capture people's attention, and perhaps their imagination too."
The leader says that overcoming climate change "will take a triumph of optimism over pessimism, of vision over short-sightedness, of what Abraham Lincoln called 'the better angels of our nature'".
"It is in that spirit that 56 newspapers from around the world have united behind this editorial. If we, with such different national and political perspectives, can agree on what must be done then surely our leaders can, too."
Dubai's Gulf News, the Arabic language paper An Nahar of Lebanon and the Israeli paper Maariv are among the 16 Asian papers involved.
There are also 11 African papers participating, and nine from north, south and central America combined.
The sole English-language US paper represented is the Miami Herald. "This initiative offered the Miami Herald's editorial board a terrific opportunity to join other papers across the globe on an issue that is of paramount importance to Florida and to our nation," said the Herald's editorial page editor, Myriam Marquez.
The 20 European papers taking part include the Irish Times, Liberation, Suddeutsche Zeitung, La Repubblica and Turkish title Hurriyet.
And delegates in Copenhagen will find that two Danish papers, Dagbladet Information and Danish Politiken, are featuring the leader too.
Some papers, such as Japan's Asahi Shimbun, were not able to carry a shared leader as that would breach their editorial protocols but are carrying a news report about the initiative.
Two Australian papers, the Age and the Sydney Morning Herald, pulled out at a late stage after the election of climate change sceptic Tony Abbott as leader of the opposition Liberal party recast the country's debate on green issues.
Peter Cole, head of the journalism department at the University of Sheffield, praised the unprecedented collaboration between newspapers.
"This is a tremendous initiative and a good counter to the idea that nobody notices that the world is falling apart," he said. "If editors from nearly 50 countries all over the world, including all the major countries that contribute so much to global warming, can all agree, then surely the politicians in Copenhagen would be foolish to ignore it."
"Only one year ago, during the COP 14 summit in Poznan, governments promised us that they would deliver a breakthrough," said Konrad Niklewicz of Poland's Gazeta Wyborcza.
"Yet as the Copenhagen summit approached, their courage and leadership started to disappear. Politicians started to behave as we had plenty of time and no disaster looming. Yet the opposite is the case.
"Science tells us we have no more time, it is now or never. We can't let governments get away with yet another fudge and unfulfilled promises. Speaking with one voice, we will be heard."
N Ram, editor-in-chief and publisher of India's Hindu, added: "This is a splendid initiative, and with some luck and a lot of hard work it should turn out to be a significant media intervention, an example of how we can perform our social responsibility function. The Hindu feels happy and privileged to be part of this initiative and prospective intervention, and we are of course front-paging the global editorial with the impressive logo (the American absences notwithstanding)."

Is It Time To Cross Partisan Lines and Unite To Fight A Common Enemy?

By William Cormier (about the author

Today, on my site I received a comment that jolted my awareness and gave me great pause for thought and contemplation; I believe I have always had the gift of knowing when an individual is sincere - and Obama was by far from my first choice, and most of you know that I favored Kucinich and after him, Ron Paul, who had never in his life voted against our constitution. One phrase entered my mind, “Together we Stand, Divided we fall,” and that is what is occurring in our nation. We are being divided and fighting amongst one another, and while we're busy shouting accusations at the so-called opposition, our economy is being plundered and our nation is being conquered by the combined forces of Democrats and Republicans who are working together for corporate America - not “We the People.”

This is the comment I received, and I ask all of you to give it some thought. “Endgame”and the FEMA Internment Camps are real - we all know that. In the last Presidential election, we saw huge amounts of Republicans crossing the isle, disgusted with the Bush years and never-ending war who voted for Obama, and they are now as disgusted with him as we are. Like it or not, President Obama has shown his true colors and is nothing more than another lying politician who lied to the entire nation, not just to Liberals and Progressives. Please read this and give it some thought:

    “Mr. Cormier,

I respect your diligent efforts to examine the important issues that you write. You do so in a manner that does investigative journalism great merit.

However, I wish to express that I am nonplussed as to how or why it is that you continue to participate in the binary debate between Left/Right, Liberal/Conservative, and Democrat/Republican. As a former, life-long and devout Democrat–who finally took the red pill, or is it the blue pill, and woke up–I am dismayed to realize that even you do not see that the powers that are working behind the scenes are using the two parties to not only foment the legislative and administrative changes they seek, but also to divide and conquer the people. Are you so blind to the obvious structure of their campaign?

While you and the other side bicker back and forth, point fingers and place blame, they–and, yes, there is a “they”–run right down the middle, tightly clutching our money, goods, services, and, most shockingly, our rights as well. I never ever imagined in my younger days that I would say this, but here goes: Clinton was no better than Bush Sr, who was no better than Obama, who is proving now that he is no better than Bush Jr. They are all puppets in the game that we are in the 11th hour of losing.

We are wasting our time and energy focusing on the “other” party and thus buying time and power for those who would have us ALL at their behest and under their fascist control. God help us, but–I've got to give them credit–”they” are good, very good. Sadly, I think they have already conquered us, and by the time the masses wake up to this–and bloggers like yourself start bringing this awareness to the fore–it will be too late to stop the freight train that is now bearing down on us.

I do thank you for your work, effort, and patriotic devotion, but I would ask that you stop pointing your journalistic rifle at the Reds across the skirmish field, and, instead, strike accord with them–where it is readily available–and turn to face the real enemy who creeps by us well-cloaked in the darkness of our ignorance, fear, and preoccupation.”

We, as a nation, face a grave danger. Foreign interests are purchasing our mortgages, buying up large swaths of what is left of our industry, and the United States is so indebted to foreign nations that if we face reality - the United States of America is bankrupt! I believe that we are being sold out by both parties, not just Republicans, and I am not endorsing Glen Beck or Rush Limbaugh; in fact, nothing could be further from the truth! The purveyors of hate are in league with the same forces that are taking over our beloved country, and it is they and even our own Congress who are guilty of treason by consorting with enemies of the United States, working to stir up hate and animosity between our own compatriots who also desire nothing more than returning to our constitutional values and living in freedom and peace. Think about that"

Consider the sworn testimony of Sibel Edmonds and Deep Corruption Beneath the Surface. I was outraged that CNN, NBC, CBS, and even our greatest purveyor of hate,Fox News, didn't bother to report upon high treason by members of our Congress. In doing so, I may have overlooked the greater evil; what has Congress itself done to those that consort among their own ranks and have committed treason against the United States of America? Nothing. We are greeted with silence even though the Congress of this great nation casually overlook treason by some of their own"

We have read about the Bilderburgs and What they may be planning Now and are fully aware that it's not just another conspiracy theory. Furthermore, we should all remember the statement made by Henry Kissinger to CNBC and other News sources::
Concerning the New World Order, Power Elite agent Henry Kissinger in a recent CNBC interview said President Obama's “task will be to develop an overall strategy for America in this period when, really, a new world order can be created. It's a great opportunity: it isn't just a crisis.” Kissinger also wrote “The chance for a new world order” (International Herald Tribune, January 12, 2009) in which he explained: “The economic world has been globalized". In the end, the political and economic systems can be harmonized in only one of two ways: by creating an international political regulatory system with the same reach as that of the economic world; or by shrinking the economic units to a size manageable by existing political structures, which is likely to lead to a new mercantilism, perhaps of regional units". The extraordinary impact of the President-Elect on the imagination of humanity is an important element in shaping a new world order". The role of China in a new world order is equally crucial". The current crisis can be overcome only by developing a sense of common purpose". An international order can be permanent only if its participants have a share not only in building but also in securing it.” MORE
Are we playing into the Elite's hands by bickering among ourselves instead of coming together to fight against a common enemy? I believe that it is worth your time and contemplation to give this concept a great deal of thought - and those who stand on the other side may share a common interest rather than being our enemies. I am not speaking of Neo-conservatives that embrace what most of us believe to be an abomination, but every day Republicans that also embrace our constitution and the American way of life. If we don't solidify our ranks and use every asset at our disposal, how are we alone to win this battle? I believe it's time to unite America against a common enemy, not fight amongst ourselves and allow our nation to be parceled off to the highest bidder. The United States belongs to the people, all of us, not the wealthy politicians and Wall Street criminals who are selling us out for their own financial gain. Perhaps I'm wrong, but as it stands today, we're losing, and badly, so maybe it's time to close ranks and fight together, shoulder to shoulder, against the enemies of democracy.

    William Cormier

I am nothing more than a patriotic American that is doing whatever I can to further the cause of democracy, the rule of law, and am absolutely outraged on how the Bush administration is defying our Congress, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights! Footnote: I write in a style that I believe is appropriate in today's world where we can't trust the Mainstream News Media, and rather than concentrating on one article alone, which may or may not receive the exposure and emphasis it should, I prefer to meld several relevant stories together, that each taken alone may not expose the entire situation, but when taken-in as a whole, tend to give the reader a better understanding of the subject. One article or story alone does not represent the "Big Picture" - but when several are effectively tied-together it often reveals a trend or broader view of the subject matter that is important to completely understand any given situation. http://justanothercoverup.com/

John Holdren, Obama's Science Czar, says: Forced abortions and mass sterilization needed to save the planet

Book he authored in 1977 advocates for extreme totalitarian measures to control the population

Forced abortions. Mass sterilization. A "Planetary Regime" with the power of life and death over American citizens.

The tyrannical fantasies of a madman? Or merely the opinions of the person now in control of science policy in the United States? Or both?

These ideas (among many other equally horrifying recommendations) were put forth by John Holdren, whom Barack Obama has recently appointed Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Assistant to the President for Science and Technology, and Co-Chair of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology -- informally known as the United States' Science Czar. In a book Holdren co-authored in 1977, the man now firmly in control of science policy in this country wrote that:

    • Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not;
    • The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation's drinking water or in food;
    • Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise;
    • People who "contribute to social deterioration" (i.e. undesirables) "can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility" -- in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.
    • A transnational "Planetary Regime" should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans' lives -- using an armed international police force.

Impossible, you say? That must be an exaggeration or a hoax. No one in their right mind would say such things.

Well, I hate to break the news to you, but it is no hoax, no exaggeration. John Holdren really did say those things, and this report contains the proof. Below you will find photographs, scans, and transcriptions of pages in the book Ecoscience, co-authored in 1977 by John Holdren and his close colleagues Paul Ehrlich and Anne Ehrlich. The scans and photos are provided to supply conclusive evidence that the words attributed to Holdren are unaltered and accurately transcribed.

This report was originally inspired by this article in FrontPage magazine, which covers some of the same information given here. But that article, although it contained many shocking quotes from John Holdren, failed to make much of an impact on public opinion. Why not? Because, as I discovered when discussing the article with various friends, there was no proof that the quotes were accurate -- so most folks (even those opposed to Obama's policies) doubted their veracity, because the statements seemed too inflammatory to be true. In the modern era, it seems, journalists have lost all credibility, and so are presumed to be lying or exaggerating unless solid evidence is offered to back up the claims. Well, this report contains that evidence.

Of course, Holdren wrote these things in the framework of a book he co-authored about what he imagined at the time (late 1970s) was an apocalyptic crisis facing mankind: overpopulation. He felt extreme measures would be required to combat an extreme problem. Whether or not you think this provides him a valid "excuse" for having descended into a totalitarian fantasy is up to you: personally, I don't think it's a valid excuse at all, since the crisis he was in a panic over was mostly in his imagination. Totalitarian regimes and unhinged people almost always have what seems internally like a reasonable justification for actions which to the outside world seem incomprehensible.

Direct quotes from John Holdren's Ecoscience

Below you will find a series of ten short passages from Ecoscience. On the left in each case is a scanned image taken directly from the pages of the book itself; on the right is an exact transcription of each passage, with noteworthy sections highlighted. Below each quote is a short analysis by me.

Following these short quotes, I take a "step back" and provide the full extended passages from which each of the shorter quotes were excerpted, to provide the full context.

And at the bottom of this report, I provide untouched scans (and photos) of the full pages from which all of these passages were taken, to quash any doubts anyone might have that these are absolutely real, and to forestall any claims that the quotes were taken "out of context."

Ready? Brace yourself. And prepare to be shocked.

Page 837: Compulsory abortions would be legal

As noted in the FrontPage article cited above, Holdren "hides behind the passive voice" in this passage, by saying "it has been concluded." Really? By whom? By the authors of the book, that's whom. What Holdren's really saying here is, "I have determined that there's nothing unconstitutional about laws which would force women to abort their babies." And as we will see later, although Holdren bemoans the fact that most people think there's no need for such laws, he and his co-authors believe that the population crisis is so severe that the time has indeed come for "compulsory population-control laws." In fact, they spend the entire book arguing that "the population crisis" has already become "sufficiently severe to endanger the society."

Page 786Single mothers should have their babies taken away by the government; or they could be forced to have abortions

Holdren and his co-authors once again speculate about unbelievably draconian solutions to what they feel is an overpopulation crisis. But what's especially disturbing is not that Holdren has merely made these proposals -- wrenching babies from their mothers' arms and giving them away; compelling single mothers to prove in court that they would be good parents; and forcing women to have abortions, whether they wanted to or not -- but that he does so in such a dispassionate, bureaucratic way. Don't be fooled by the innocuous and "level-headed" tone he takes: the proposals are nightmarish, however euphemistically they are expressed.

Holdren seems to have no grasp of the emotional bond between mother and child, and the soul-crushing trauma many women have felt throughout history when their babies were taken away from them involuntarily.

This kind of clinical, almost robotic discussion of laws that would affect millions of people at the most personal possible level is deeply unsettling, and the kind of attitude that gives scientists a bad name. I'm reminded of the phrase "banality of evil."

Not that it matters, but I myself am "pro-choice" -- i.e. I think that abortion should not be illegal. But that doesn't mean I'm pro-abortion -- I don't particularly like abortions, but I do believe women should be allowed the choice to have them. But John Holdren here proposes to take away that choice -- to force women to have abortions. One doesn't need to be a "pro-life" activist to see the horror of this proposal -- people on all sides of the political spectrum should be outraged. My objection to forced abortion is not so much to protect the embryo, but rather to protect the mother from undergoing a medical procedure against her will. And not just any medical procedure, but one which she herself (regardless of my views) may find particularly immoral or traumatic.

There's a bumper sticker that's popular in liberal areas which says: "Against abortion? Then don't have one." Well, John Holdren wants to MAKE you have one, whether you're against it or not.

Page 787-8Mass sterilization of humans though drugs in the water supply is OK as long as it doesn't harm livestock

K, John, now you're really starting to scare me. Putting sterilants in the water supply? While you correctly surmise that this suggestion "seems to horrify people more than most proposals," you apparently are not among those people it horrifies. Because in your extensive list of problems with this possible scheme, there is no mention whatsoever of any ethical concerns or moral issues. In your view, the only impediment to involuntary mass sterlization of the population is that it ought to affect everyone equally and not have any unintended side effects or hurt animals. But hey, if we could sterilize all the humans safely without hurting the livestock, that'd be peachy! The fact that Holdren has no moral qualms about such a deeply invasive and unethical scheme (aside from the fact that it would be difficult to implement) is extremely unsettling and in a sane world all by itself would disqualify him from holding a position of power in the government.

Page 786-7The government could control women's reproduction by either sterilizing them or implanting mandatory long-term birth control

WORLD GLOBALIZATION OF THE BANKING & REGULATORY STRUCTURE PART 2

    By Joan Veon
    June 30, 2009
    NewsWithViews.com

Concentrating Total Financial Power at the Bank For International Settlements and the Financial Stability Board

BASEL, SWITZERLAND - There are those who have been predicting a time when there would appear a world government structure. That time is here. Many, however, have predicted that it would be political in power. That is not necessarily so. Although the United Nations has been an organizing power worldwide to harmonize national law with international law, they do not issue or print money—for that is the role of central banks. With the new and vast empowerments being given to the central banks of the world and with the restructuring of the Financial Stability Board, it appears that world government is financial and economic. The old adage is true, “He who owns the gold makes the rules.”

The entire banking system of the world, with the exception of a few Muslim countries, is run by private corporations called “central banks.” America’s central bank, the Federal Reserve, was founded in 1913. People should understand that it is not Congress which runs America but the Federal Reserve because without the money and credit that it provides to banks and subsequently home owners, farmers, and businesses, would not be able to function. All one has to do is study the various past economic crises to know that they occurred when the national banking system cut off credit. There is no doubt that the 2008 Credit Crisis has helped everyone to see that it is the banks—primarily the international banks and the central banks which run the world. While the names of the shareholders of the Federal Reserve remain secret, many people believe that the large international banks are some of its owners.

As a result of the Credit Crisis, the Bush Administration proposed the “Blueprint for a Modernized Financial Regulatory Structure” which was approved by current Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner who then was president of the New York Federal. He is now proposing the Obama regulatory blueprint. Recently released, it calls for many of the same recommendations as the previous blueprint, which can be summarized as a total centralization of power:

A New Financial Services Oversight Council of financial regulators to identify emerging systemic risks and improve interagency cooperation.

New authority for the Federal Reserve to supervise all firms that could pose a threat to the financial stability, even those that do not own banks.

Stronger capital and other prudential standards for all financial firms, and even higher standards for large, interconnected firms.

A new National Bank Supervisor to supervise all federally chartered banks (and other financial institutions currently not under Federal Reserve oversight).

Elimination of the federal thrift charter and other loopholes that allowed some depository institutions to avoid bank holding company regulation by the Federal Reserve.

The registration of advisors of hedge funds and other private pools of Capital with the SEC.

Since most are not acquainted with our financial and regulatory structure, they will not appreciate the incredible transfer of power being given to the Federal Reserve, a private corporation. Once Congress passes the necessary law, the Fed will be given massive powers over the entire financial and economic industry, the insurance industry, non-banking institutions as well as the mortgage industry.

While most Americans are hardly aware of the United Nations or World Bank, let alone the World Health Organization, it will be difficult to understand the two-pronged frontal attack: changing U.S. regulatory laws to correspond to global regulatory laws which are in the process of being strengthened and re-configured. The complexity is enormous and the areas affected are hardly known or at this time or truly understood. Sadly, Congress is so busy adjusting their togas, they do not understand that they no longer have the real power as it was given to the Federal Reserve in 1913.

A very major piece of the new international architecture is the newly configured Financial Stability Board-FSB. At the spring meeting of the IMF/World Bank, NWV had asked former BIS Managing Director, Sir Andrew Crockett, now with JP Morgan, what the role, power and function would be of the FSB. He explained that while the chairs were still being arranged at the table, that it would act at the global level to oversee national stability risks, it would work with other regulators, it would review standards set by various board on the national level, and it would employ a ‘college of regulators’ that would define methodologies. At the inaugural meeting held on June 26-27 in Basel, FSB Chairman Mario Draghi, Governor of the Bank of Italy, provided a detailed report on its new structure. He explained,
The FSB’s mandate is to assess vulnerabilities affecting the financial system; identify and oversee action needed to address them; promote coordination and information exchange among authorities responsible for financial stability; monitor and advise on market developments and their implications for regulatory policy; advise on and monitor best practice in meeting regulatory standards; undertake joint strategic reviews on the policy development work of the international standards setting bodies; set guidelines for and support the establishment of supervisory colleges; manage contingency planning for cross-broader crisis management; and collaborate with the IMF to conduct Early Warning Exercises.
The FSB was given an official “plenary” structure which would be like the structure of any other international body, like the plenary of the United Nations. It will be comprised of G20 central bank ministers, treasury secretaries, and regulatory authorities. It will have a Steering Committee and three Standing Committees: for Vulnerabilities Assessment; Supervisory and Regulatory Cooperation; and Standards Implementation.

The Standing Committee for Supervisory and Regulatory Cooperation will address coordination issues that arise among supervisors and regulators and set guidelines for and oversee the establishment and effective functioning of supervisory colleges.
A number of questions have been raised with regard to the college of supervisors which will be a key component of the FSB. In April, 2008, the G7 welcomed the idea of the college of supervisors to make the world’s financial markets less risky. Paulson’s blueprint and his recommendation to bring all of the different U.S. regulatory bodies under one agency is key to making the supervisory colleges work. Many on the international level wanted to be the one responsible for suggesting it, Gordon Brown of the UK being one of them. The supervisory college would monitor the world’s top 30 financial firms in order to have “effective cross-border supervision.” This would be formally agreed to by Memorandum of Understanding which would describe how it will function, be organized and coordinate between supervisors, banks, and countries.
The FSB will be comprised of the Group of Seven plus: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, and Turkey. In addition the European Central Bank and the European Commission, as well a host of international financial institutions and international standard setting, regulatory and supervisory groups with participate.

The above constitutes a total restructuring of the entire financial system, mortgage system, insurance industry, non-banking institutions, and any other entity connected with money on a worldwide basis. While the central banks control the monetary system, they are now being given complete centralization of these financial powers.

Congress can argue about whether or not they will put all of our regulatory agencies under one roof, but the real truth is that they don’t have the power to do that for “he who owns the gold makes the rules.” The Federal Reserve, along with Treasury has already been playing a major role to help set in place the new financial and regulatory infrastructure.

In short, what comes after this will probably be a global currency that will lead to a time of total control under a cashless system. The BIS would not answer NewsWithViews' questions about a change to the Special Drawing Right from the dollar. BIS Managing Director Jaime Caruana commented, “Repairing the financial system and building a more resilient one for the future also requires broad-based efforts involving cooperation between government and the private sector. At the same time, we need to resist the move towards protectionism; mounting that resistance puts a premium on international cooperation and a heightened sense of shared responsibility.”

It is ironic that here in Basle, the home of the Bank for International Settlements, the Rathaus, built in the early 1500s which was the center of town at that time, has written in gold a statement that is timeless, “Freedom is better than gold and silver.” For part one click below.

CAP & TRADE RAPE PASSED - WHAT MUST BE DONE NEXT

    By: Devvy
    June 29, 2009
    © 2009 - NewsWithViews.com

"We've got to ride the global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic policy and environmental policy." – Tim Wirth, former member of Congress, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Global Affairs.

At the Fifth Congress in Moscow
, 'The Program,' was drafted and agreed upon by the International Communist dictators. It was agreed that an environmental "crisis" would be gradually developed to siphon off the money from capitalism and reduce countries to socialism and eventually under communism. I refer readers back to this column and the book by Gus Hall, head of the Communist Party USA for decades: Ecology, Can we survive under capitalism? published in 1972.

While the news media in this country saturated the air waves over Michael Jackson's death last Friday, a real battle was going on in the House of Outlaws in Washington, DC. Comrade Pelosi was absent most of the day breaking arms to get the required number of votes to save the planet!

Those of us who have actually taken the time to do the research fully understand global warming is a monstrous hoax against the world. Master of hustle and bull, Al Gore, has cleaned house promoting global warming. It has been his cash cow to an estimated $100 million dollars into his bank account. Usurper, Obama/Soetoro, believes the propaganda, too: Scientists: Obama document is 'scare' tactic. "This is not a work of science but an embarrassing episode for the authors and NOAA," said meteorologist Joe D'Aleo, the former chairman of the American Meteorological Society's Committee on Weather Analysis and Forecasting."

Let me say as someone who has been an activist full time going into my 20th year, next to NAFTA, GATT, CAFTA, our unlawful participation in the communist United Nothing (UN and the phony "hate crimes" bill sitting in the senate), this so called energy bill ranks at the top. It will further destroy the economy of this country, our rights, run rough shod over the states, destroy more jobs that will go to commie China and destroy businesses.

Below are learning links that tell you the truth instead of the bald faced lies from Gore, Obama/Soetoro, Clinton, Comrade Pelosi and those who stand to rake in big bux from the fruits of your labor, bleeding this country dry.

First, let me comment on the hypocrisy of the Republicans; I belong to no party. This dangerous bill went from 936 pages to 1,201 pages and who knows what the final one looks like? H.R. 2454 morphed into an even more draconian piece of legislation and at 3:00 am, June 25, 2009, another 312 pages were added. The vote was scheduled for late in the day on June 26, 2009.

I watched quite a bit of the live coverage C-SPAN. Every Republican gave the number of people who would lose jobs in their districts based on the language in the bill; all in the thousands. More jobs that will go to commie China. The Democrats got up and lied about what you could read with your own eyes in the bill.

At one point, Rep. Gomert addressed one of the stupidest, most politically correct air heads in Congress, Ellen Tauscher, who was the chair woman while Pelsoi was making back room deals with the question: There is another 300+ pages added, but where is it? How do I get a copy before the vote?

This arrogant nit wit said Gomert didn't ask a proper parliamentary question! After Gomert persisted, where can I get a copy, she replies it's in the Rules Committee Report, an amendment voted on earlier.

Rep Barton then asks the same question: Fine, but where do we get a copy? How can we vote on 300+ pages added to the bill when we don't even have a copy of the text? (Not that any of them read this stuff in its entirety anyway.)

This arrogant female, and you should see her presiding over the house like some sour puss Queen, said once again, it's in the Rules Committee Report and that it's not her job to provide a copy.

Rep. Ike Skelton, another putrid Democrat from MO, popped up out of his stupor and said, "The bill isn't perfect, but we need to pass it and move on."

Rep. John Boehner had a go around with an old burned out, empty headed fool, Henry Waxman. Yeah, Boehner, it is an outrage what went on last Friday and your party has done it in the past to the Democrats. Do we all remember what happened over the draconian "Patriot Act" bill? Here's a refresher from 2002:

"In an interview with Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX), The Beacon has uncovered at least one Congressman that admits that Congress sometimes passes unconstitutional laws. Furthermore, Congressmen know that these laws are unconstitutional at the time that the bills are passed. In addition, Rep. Paul revealed that laws are sometimes passed without the bills being available for reading and that often bills are passed on a "voice vote" (not a roll call vote) so that people back home will not know how a specific Congressman voted.

"A recent example cited by Rep. Paul is the USA Patriot Act. This bill violates several constitutional protections and defines a "terrorist" as anyone who opposes a federal government program or policy. According to Rep. Paul, this means that a person who differs with the government on issues such as abortion, gun control laws, Free Trade Agreements, the United Nations, or any number of programs and activities could be defined as a terrorist and investigated by the government even though no crime is committed. The USA Patriot Act also gives the government the authority to establish a National ID Card for tracking and surveillance.

"I've heard many conservative Congressmen expressing disappointment in themselves for voting in favor of this bill now that the American people are beginning to realize that this is a bad bill", said Rep. Paul. Rep. Paul also stated that the USA Patriot Act was not available to read or study before it was voted on and passed.

"Another example cited by Rep. Paul is the recently passed Campaign Finance Reform Bill. This bill will silence groups from reporting on information such as how our federal elected officials have voted on important legislation anytime within 60 days of an election or 45 days before a primary. "Many Congressmen are now saying that they know it is unconstitutional but that is up to the courts. That, to me, is one of the most despicable arguments I've ever heard", said Rep. Paul. "What's the sense of taking an oath of office if you're going to pass things that are unconstitutional and hope the courts will save you from yourself", Rep. Paul continued."

In 2002, Congress was controlled by the Republicans with a Republican president. A crook by the name of Dennis Hastert was Speaker of the House. He is a Republican. Now he's living the high life off the fruits of your labor when he should have gone to jail. The point is that the Republican leadership pulled the same shenanigans in 2002 as the Democrats did last Friday. They also shafted their own at the same time who would have voted against that bill.

Boehner is in his 10th term in Congress and he was there when the Republicans did the very same thing to the minority Democrats. While these outlaws play their stupid political games, we the people are being crushed and driven into poverty. While Boehner deserves credit this round - ("By imposing a tax on every American who drives a car or flips on a light switch, this plan will drive up the prices for food, gasoline and electricity," said Boehner...") - where were the Republicans from January 1995 until November 2006? They had ample time to address the energy problems and take them one at a time, intelligently, thoughtfully and in the best interests of the republic and cost to we the people with a GOP controlled Congress and White House.
The vote was 219-212, a margin of only seven votes. Eight Republicans voted for this unconstitutional mess. While every member of Congress should be thrown out on their backsides in November 2010 (except Ron Paul and which clearly won't happen because millions of Americans are drowning in stupidity), these eight should be top of the list:
Mary Bono Mack R (CA); Mike Castle R (DW); Mark Steven Kirk R (IL); Leonard Lance R (NJ); Frank LoBiondo R (NJ); John McHugh R (NY); Dave Reichert R (WA); Chris Smith R (NJ)

The Internet is buzzing there is one more chance to stop this in the House:

    MOTION TO RECONSIDER
"A motion to reconsider is a parliamentary practice that gives the House (or Senate) one opportunity to review its action on a motion, amendment, or measure.
"Motions to reconsider are routinely laid on the table -- or killed. If a motion to reconsider is adopted, it requires a vote be held again on whatever the House has voted to reconsider. Only Members who voted on the winning side may move to reconsider a vote. (Emphasis mine) Members have been known to change their votes at the last minute in order to be eligible to offer the motion.

"If the original vote on a question is close, enough members might be persuaded to change their position, or absent members could come to the floor, vote to reconsider, then reverse the outcome of the original vote.

"Typically, however, after announcing the result of a vote, the Speaker states that, "without objection, a motion to reconsider is laid on the table." This uses up the one opportunity to reconsider, and makes the result of the vote final."

However, the link "laid on the table" may end any hope of a motion to reconsider
    LAY ON THE TABLE
"A motion to lay on the table a bill, resolution, amendment, point of order, appeal or another motion disposes of the question immediately and finally and adversely -- it kills it without a direct vote on the substance of the question. A motion to table is not debatable and is adopted by unanimous consent -- without objection -- or by majority vote. It is a "highly privileged motion" -- that is, in the order in which motions are given priority in the House, only a motion to adjourn has higher precedence than a motion to table a measure."

Did Pelosi or her minion, Tauscher, state: "without objection, a motion to reconsider is laid on the table"? In checking the Daily Digest for Friday, I did not see a statement by Pelosi on this, but the record might not be complete. I don't have a video of the entire proceedings.

Congress is now out of session until July 6, 2009. The next step is the U.S. Senate and numbers. As far as I can tell, there is no resolution to the putrid Franken/Coleman senate race in Minnesota; click here. Franken is the buffoon a lot of people in Minnesota voted for - a comedian who made his living telling foul jokes. Franken became even more famous for his jokes about raping women. But, since he's a Democrat, that seems to excuse his filthy mouth, authoring porn and outrageous behavior. I can only say shame, shame on any American in Minnesota who voted for the equivalent of dirty pig. Oh, and one more thing: Franken committed adultery with hard core socialist, Arianna Huffington according to her; click here. But, then again, Huffington's husband left her to have sex with men. Does it get any more revolting?

Liberal Democrat, Arlen Specter, most certainly a perfect vision of a corrupt politician, finally gave up his phony Republican label and went home. There are two "independents" - Comrade Bernie Sanders (VT) and the doddering old fool, Joseph Liberman (CT). There isn't a single, real constitutionalist in the U.S. Senate and many of the freedom hating Republicans, i.e., Juan McCain (Create green jobs! In favor of cap and trade), Olympia Snow (Voted yes on factoring global warming into federal project planning), Susan Collins (Voted yes on factoring global warming into federal project planning) will support this nonsense. The next step is to bombard the Senate with phone calls, faxes and snail mail (they ignore emails and respond with blather form letters) from now until the vote. I cannot stress to you how critical it is that we stop this from getting to the desk of the usurper Obama/Soetoro. Here is the list of senators and their web sites to contact after July 6, 2009. Also, remember that only 1/3 of the senate will be up for reelection in 2010.

This bill - the largest tax hike in the history of this country - cannot get to Obama. This bill will kill 2 1/2 million jobs and most will go to commie China. How do I know? I listened to Boehner on C-SPAN for over an hour go through the amendment - a never ending horror story. There is a provision for extended unemployment for those who lose their jobs! Yes, that is right. These craven power mad politicians already know millions of jobs will be lost while we're heading for Depression Two, but don't worry! There's lots of unemployment to replace paychecks. Where is your outrage, America?

I'm going to cover sections of that bill on my radio show tonight. Our very survival is on the line and we need to inform as many Americans as possible so the roar when the senate returns week after next is deafening. Here are a few bullet points provided by American Solutions (check their web site here and look at the big map):

Destroy an average of 1-3 million jobs, every year
Raise inflation-adjusted gasoline prices by 74 percent
Raise residential natural gas prices by 55 percent
Raise an average family's annual energy bill by $1,500 annually
Increase the federal debt by 26 percent, which is $29,150 per person

State legislators also need to understand this bill stomps on states rights and goes right into neighborhoods. Please get informed. Talk to friends, neighbors and family. We must bury the senate in constant protest. Tell your senator/senatorette that we the people (and most likely some of the states) will bury the courts in lawsuits to gut the bill if it becomes law. Tell them this:

"Arizona is now close to becoming the first state to outlaw climate change legislation. "The state Senate voted Monday, 19-10 to approve a bill banning the Department of Environmental Quality from enacting or enforcing measures with language pertaining to climate change. The bill is now awaiting House approval." Now that Arizona got rid of their former nit wit governor, Janet Napolitano, sanity is returning. Be sure to call your state legislator and senator and thank them for voting the right way. These legislators need to know you're behind them.

Here's the other message to the U.S. Senate: We are warriors and we will fight.
